Based on the statistic that each hour 200 children across the globe die from not having access to clean drinking water, I created a grid of 14x14 individual water colour portraits. Every child that died each hour was represented by an individual portrait. Using cool colours and browns to represent the dirty water, the portraits were hung pulled away from the wall, and moved gently with airflow, like water.
